1961 U.S. Mint Set Uncirculated Coin Set ***MINT ERROR!!!***.
There is a mint error on the Denver Quarter.
I've had this set for probably 20 years.  When I was younger and my vision was much better than it is now, I noticed the "D" on the quarter was doubled.  I was able to zoom in and it appears that the quarter is a doubled die.
I used a scanner to capture this in the photos as best I can (see photos).
This mint set itself is rare, with only 223,704 minted.  So, you will likely be bidding on the only 1961 mint set ever made that has a quarter in it with this mint error!
On the first two pictures, I marked in Blue the areas I could see where it's doubled, such as the "A" in dollar and the mint mark "D" - these two were the most obvious.
