    measures approximately
    3 x 4 1/2 I
    nches. This photograph is of David Zelmanovich Rechter. During WWII he was a senior lieutenant, commander of a platoon in the 300th Guards Anti Aircraft Artillery Regiment. You can see his glorious battle path on screenshot 2. He received his first order of the Red Star for: On July 27th, 1944, his platoon downed 1 Ju-87 bomber plane, and 1 Me-109 fighter plane which fell on our territory. He is faithful to the Lenin-Stalin's party tasks and to his Socialist motherland. (see screenshot 1) He was awarded the second order of the Red Star for: During battles in 1945 he showed himself as a brave and courageous officer, his platoon was tasked to cover our tank and artillery divisions from enemy air attacks at the time of the offensive at the city of Danzig. Under his command, his platoon downed one enemy plane near Zibsau. (see screenshot 2)
