Vtg Sony D-5 Compact Disc & AC-D50 Power Dock Worlds First Portable CD Player.
The CD player powers on and starts to spin for approximately 10 seconds or so and then powers off. I do have CD laser Lens Cleaner Disc that I used on it to try to clean the lens and that disc will play fine. It goes through all of the audio fine. The disc has test tracks with audio to test the left and right side audio and both work and sound good with headphones.
I have tried multiple CDs and all of them do the same thing. They spin for about 10 seconds or so and it powers off. The laser lens cleaner disc worked fine every time I tried it. It just won’t play regular CDs.
Selling as broken for parts or repairs.
