Description
Vintage, potted and magnetically shielded (steel enclosure) power transformer for tube based Audio/Guitar amplifier or Ham project.Pulled from well preserved, early vintage, power supply using a very early version of the 80 rectifier tube.
From size, weight, primary resistance, roughly estimated to be handling around 110-120 Watts/VA.
Dimensions: 3" 1/8 x 4" 1/4 x 5" 1/4 (roughly 8x11x13 cm)
Weight: 6.3 lbs (2.90 Kg)
Applied a new coat of nice brown paint resulting in cosmetically very acceptable appearance considering age.
The insulation of the leads has been reinforced with shrink tubes.
No shorts in between windings. Tested with no load and not in an actual circuit. No hum, no buzz, no heating or burn smell.
With Primary at 120 V 60 Hz the following Secondary Voltages measured:
High Voltage 350+350 V (center tapped),
Low Voltages: 2.7 1.9 6 and 6 V
A short lead, probably connected to a shield between Primary and Secondaries for Grounding purposes.
Make sure of its suitability for your specific needs.
