    Uncommon Vintage Turquoise Blue BIRD BEAKED JUG w/Gold Accents (40 Oz.)
    Description of item...
    Here we have an interesting and uncommon vintage turquoise blue glazed BIRD BEAKED JUG with a long spout and gold accents. It measures approx. 6-3/4" high x 6" in mid diameter x 7-1/4" long (from spout to handle), can hold up to 40 ounces. It is in good maintained (used/displayed) condition, commensurate with its age, with no major damage. It is being offered in "as found" condition - currently showing a minor under-glaze stress crack on the top opening edge (see close-up photo #4)...plus a flea bite nick on the beaks end tip as well as some gold loss (mostly on the handle)...all of which are not horribly offensive, and still displays beautifully. Oddly, it is not marked with a maker or country of origin. Came from a private home collection of many years displayed on a kitchen shelf, however the exact age is unknown. This item weighs approx. 1-1/2 lbs., add 2-1/2 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
