Rare Vintage/ Antique Brass Owl Sword Letter Opener Solid Made In England.
It's approximately  9.75" long.  See picture with tape measure.
It's about 3.7 ounces.
Has some tarnish.  Scratches and scuffs.
This is unique because it has a straight sword.
Some others have curved swords.
It is also unique because it has " ENGLAND " etched into the back of the owl. See picture. Most similar ones do not have anything on the back.
It's probably pretty old, from when they still used the word England.
