MINIATURE ANTIQUE JUG - 2-3/4" TALL - HAND PAINTED ON TOP OF HIGH GLOSS GLAZE

I've had this piece sitting on my bookshelves for years.  Now the move to Florida means reducing my collections.
This is so fun, and originally given to me by a friend that acquired it at a house sale in NJ.
The little jug is 2-3/4" high with a diameter of just over 2".  It has a high gloss finish and a cork in the center with what looks like wax residue.  (I don't hear anything in the bottle when I shake it.)  The most fascinating part for me is the painting on the outside.  It looks like a colonial gentleman holding a bird with a dog at his feet.  I've kept the original label on the bottom, where it looks like it came from an antique store.  Note the prong marks from the firing.
I know little about it but it is special.
