Since 2008, Nightingale Natural Soaps have commited to provide our customers a trusted, healthier product.
From now on, all new soap added will no longer contain genetically modified oils (GMO). Did you know that
conventional soybean oil and/or corn oil are not only a cheaper oil, but also supports an industry that genetically modifies products and may be putting small farmers out of business? Even though it is a bit more expensive, we want to support
our small farmers, as well as
use high quality, healthier oils.
We are now using organic palm oil which comes from a renewable and sustainable resource.
Palm creates a harder, more stable bar of soap that seems to be more appealing to the majority of our consumers and last longer on the shelves of our gift stores.
Our organic palm oil is not as likely to contribute to the industry which demands more deforestation. Also our organic palm oil is farmed organically which does not pollute our land.
We also changed are resourse for activated charcoal.
All of the activated charcoal that we now use in our soap will be produced from sustainably grown hardwood trees, ( which are one of the United States most plentiful and sustainable resources.)  All of our charcoal is made under the oversight of a reputable, nationwide forest preservation program.
