Georg Jensen Ornamental #117 Letter Opener, Denmark Sterling Silver, 6 5/8" long

A very cool, collectible letter opener. Along with more typical silver flatware patterns, Jensen released "ornamental" patterns with only pattern numbers and less pieces typically produced. This is pattern #117, and it is floral-inspired like many Georg Jensen pieces from this time period. The hallmarks date this to 1910-1925. Overall, this silver piece is in good condition, but the thin "cutting" edges of the opener do have some slight rolls and small dents along the way. This piece measures 6 5/8" long and weighs 53
grams.
