French brass bronze letter opener, signed, box.
This brass and bronze letter opener came from France. It is signed with an elaborate illegible signature. The handle has an inlaid spider web design in a different color than the rest of the piece. The back is blank. It comes in a leatherette case with gold satin lining. The condition of the opener is good, there are a few small abrasions just above the signature. The box is fair, there is wear to the lining and there are some nicks in the leatherette.
Measurements are: 8 ¾” long. 1” wide and ¼” deep.
