When you purchase one of our complete, currently issued FILBE packs you are supporting several small family-owned businesses from Indiana to Maine. We do our best to support other small family-owned businesses around us.  I have local artisans correct one of the few weak points of this pack system by refitting the metal buckles on the shoulder harnesses with a simpler side squeeze buckle of the same design that is all over the rest of the pack.  The metal buckles on the harnesses are prone to failure and many surplus units do not even come with the lower halves of the shoulder straps because they are in extremely short supply even for the Marines and their supplier.
We also sourced BRAND NEW frames at significant cost for these packs as that used to be the other failure point. These packs are going to be the best, most trouble-free surplus ruck option available. These packs may still show signs of issued use as they are surplus, however, the issues will be minor and will not impede functionality. The flaws will be limited to holes less than ½” at their longest point, abrasions, stains, professional repairs or missing peripheral buckles. We try to ensure all the buckles are there but with hundreds of these packs to sort some inevitably slip through the cracks. The load lifter female buckles are often missing as well. You can simply use the assault pack clips as they are a stronger attachment point anyways.
We are offering these unassembled, however, an assembled option will be available for a increase in price. Assembly is not difficult for anyone to do, with the good videos on Youtube, however, it does take about 30 minutes.
