The water used for making this soap is taken from UK filtered rainwater so there is no contamination from chlorine or other soluble impurities.
Their experts can confirm the soap is made in a traditional way to the highest quality (the cold press way). The Blessed Seed source the best ingredients and hand mix everything - that way they are able to take great care of their soaps. Once mixed they are poured into molds and left to cure for six weeks. Good things come to those who wait!
Customers of this product also have the comfort of knowing that The Blessed Seed are a member of the Guild of Craft Soap & Toiletry Makers.
The soaps are known to vary slightly in colour due to careful sourcing of the seeds, making each piece totally unique without compromising performance.
Ingredients
This is a premium quality product, created using only the finest ingredients:
Olea Europaea (Pomace Olive Fruit) oil
Nigella Sativa (Black Seed) oil
Nigella Sativa (Black Seed) butter
Cocus Nucifera (Coconut) oil
Vitamin E (Tocopheral)
A very high quality natural vitamin E is added to prevent oxidative rancidity in the mixed oils as vitamin E is a very powerful antioxidant. In this way, their soap can be superfatted to 5% giving it extra moisturising qualities - it leaves a protective microscopic film of oils on your skin.
The soap is free from artificial fragrances and preservatives. Black Seed Oil acts as a natural preservative, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-histamine and the black seed butter is also rich in antioxidants and nutrients. The nutritive factors in the oil can help repair and regenerate damaged kin.
The formula has been specially designed to maximise skin conditioning performance. The oils are balanced to take advantage of the Oleic, Lauric and Linoleic acids derived from black seed oil, black seed butter, olive and coconut oils. The best oils to use for dry skin are oils that contain higher amounts of oleic acid, a mono-saturated fatty acid found in heavier, slower drying oils. Linoleic acid (also known as vitamin F) is a powerhouse ingredient know for its ability to heal, hydrate and plump skin. Studies have demonstrated that Lauric acid works as an antibiotic treatment method against the Propionibacterium bacteria that causes acne breakouts on the skin.
This unique soap gives an enriched lather and once washed off, it will leave your skin feeling fresh, clean, and hydrated. If used as a shampoo bar by those suffering from dandruff and dry scalp, it will produce noticeable improvements over time.
This soap and shampoo bar is suitable for face, body and hair and is gentle enough for the whole family to use.
