    Description

Here you have a wonderful bit of VINTAGE HISTORICAL MEMORABILIA! Please...SEE THE SCAN!!! This is Bill Tilden featured inside a complete 1929 edition of Reader's Digest Magazine. This 3–page article is titled "TILDEN VERSUS OLD MAN TIME" by the man himself. Tilden looks at the ravages of time, and names athletes reached their peaks at a young age, and those who persevered despite their years: TY COBB, WILLIAM A LARNED, NORMAN E BROOKES, WALTER J TRAVIS, and Tilden himself who had just competed in and won the Davis Cup at age 35. The magazine is in fairly gently read condition. Not mint, but quite clean and a tough find!!! This is a great piece FOR THE COLLECTOR! Take it home with you! GOOD LUCK!
