Beautiful Unique Sheffield England Mother Of Pearl And Crystal Letter Opener. The letter opener is in nice pre owned condition but it is missing one of its faux pearls, the blade is a bit loose, and shows normal wear and light scratches. It needs a bit of a cleaning. The piece is made from what I believe is mother of Pearl, I did the hot pin test and it did not penetrate the shell, and it is cold to the touch. The handle has small brown crystals and a bit larger clear pieces decorating it, it also has the small faux pearls scattered on it. The piece measures 8 5/8” long, and gold toned bald is marked made in Sheffield England.
