Item Description:
This auction is for an old used stoneware jug. It stands about 9" tall. It is marked E.A. McQuade Wholesale and Retail Liquor Dealer, 73-75-77 Market St, Lowell, Mass. The jug overall looks to be in very good shape with some minor wear. There are some small pops and pinholes in the glaze. The bottom edge has a small chip (see pic 8). There are a few scratches here and there. It looks like this was used as a candle holder as there is a partial candle still stuck in the top with wax running down the jug.
