A RARE and unique set of 2012 Silver Eagles - FIRST DAY STRIKES

Here is a unique and rare pair of
"MATCHED"
2012 US silver eagles with special designated labeling from NGC.
A special arrangement between NGC and a coin distributer was undertaken to make available by exclusive offer to certain collectors a matching pair of silver eagles, both with the same condition grade along with the same corresponding sealed monster box # from both the West Point and San Francisco mints respectively.
This was the
first and only time
that the first 5,000 coins struck were delivered to NGC to be unsealed, graded and certified as a set of matching pairs. Each set has the same condition grade and the same corresponding sealed monster box # from each of the 2 mints.
This set from BOX # 5 is rare and were struck at each mint on the
very first day of production
, so these are certainly more than your 30 day "early release" coins. Of the millions of silver eagles struck in 2012, the 2 coins in this set were produced between the 2,001st and 2,500th die strikes at both the West Point and San Francisco mints. Both coins in this set have well defined devices, smooth fields and nice white luster.
Not many of these matching pairs were made available, and any 2 coin matching pairs of these S & W minted coins are very rare and it's hard to locate any for sale.
NOTE : There are no S/W

directly available for purchase from the original distributor any longer and haven't been so for quite some time. The only way to secure a matched pair like these would be to make inquiries with dealers and collectors.
I was lucky enough to secure 2 matching pairs and have decided to part with one paired set.
