This is a 5-coin proof set that was acquired by me many years ago and has been stored to protect the coins and the original U.S. Mint packaging. This set has not been opened. Expect t
he coins to be brilliant with mirrored fields and lots of luster. The set contains three 90% silver & 10% copper coins, the Kennedy Half Dollar, the Washington Quarter and the Roosevelt Dime. The Jefferson Nickel's composition is 75% copper & 25% nickel and the Lincoln Cent is composed of 95% copper & 05% tin and zinc. Of particular note,
this is the introductory year of the Kennedy Half Dollar and the only year until 1992 that the Kennedy proof coin will be 90% silver.
