1835 Architectural Rare Find Ancient House

Description

These are rare original untouched undocked unused pegs from an ancient house in York Maine. I believe they date to 1835 however the mallet was grabbed from the barn elsewhere. They may look like handles for a hammer until you study them much more carefully this is truly a historic taste of New England architectural finds. They are believed to be hickory which was commonly used in these have never been used.
